I've heard horror stories about dealing with plumbing companies , but formula plumbing was excellent. The Manager Frank was very professional, in explaining what the problem was an options to fix it . The plumber that came out was on time every time , very polite an mindful of not tracking dirt or water in the house . The pricing was very fair , i really liked the whole experience, communication and customer service is key and they got an A+ in my book.

Everyone from Joe who did the initial estimate to the ladies and Frank in the office to the installers were most helpful at all times. Josh and Brian took time to explain carefully what they did and even the anomalies they found in my yard. My old plumber retired and I think I have found a new company going forward.

Recently I required a plumbing services regarding the city of Saint Petersburg meter upgrade. Formula Plumbing was recommended for the work. Scheduling was a breeze and I had no issues communicating about the work. Brian and Josh who performed the work were amazing. I can't say enough about the company. Dale and the owner Joe were two of the nicest and honest plumbers I have ever met. In an industry where these guys can pretty much write the check they didn't and were incredible. UPDATE: I just hired them to do the plumbing for my bathroom renovation and they are incredible Elliot and Josh were very nice and professional and did a great job! Update 8/9/23 I had a running water issue on one of my toilets and they were quick to come. Joe the owner came and remembered my house the other work they did and asked how everything was. He then looked at my running water issue and made a quick adjustment to the valve (when he could have easily told me he needed to replace it) and said Im good. No charge. Again, with so many contractors and plumbers upcharging and taking advantage of us lay people, I am so happy I have a plumber I trust. IF you need a plumber, call Formula. Update 12/6/24 Joe came out to address my post-hurricane plumbing issue and again, I couldnt be happier with the professionalism and service. In an area where almost most of us know nothing about, I am so happy I have a plumbing company I trust. Use them, I promise you will not be disappointed! Update 5-15-25 Gage came out to help with some renovation work. Again, this company is just incredible. Great customer service, fair pricing and quality work!

Had a water heater leak last Friday. Made the initial call at 11am. Matt arrived by 12:30 and I had a new water heater in by 3. Can’t ask for much more than that! Matt was awesome! Attentive, personable and super efficient. Very happy with their service!

Home Depot had them call me to quote installing a water softner. Some sales guy called me first, the plumber showed up and looked at the job. He told me the salesman had to call me back with a quote. The plumber sat in his truck for 45 mins until the sales guy called me back. Basically quoted and tried selling me everything other than what I wanted. I have no idea if they’re good plumbers but I will say the salesman was a joke.

Great experience...Replaced a tankless gas water heater within a day. Didn't take advantage of the emergency and charged very fair price. Installer Mike was excellent. Knowledgeable, efficient and on time...Can only recommend the whole Company!

Jeremiah was here and replaced bad water tank. Haven't heard any metal noises from tank so far but do have air in the hot water line. He said to open all hot water lines which I did ,still have air in line. Will continue to check through out the day and hope it ceases so I don't have to bother you again. Tank cleared itself of air pocket,all good. Thank you!

I originally called Formula 1 Plumbing because I had an issue with my water heater. I was given a couple options, one which was to get a new water heater and repipe my whole house. I chose to repipe my whole house. I was a little bummed that the technician decided to run pipes on the outside of my house without notifying me or giving me other options because I find the pipes running on the side of the house unsightly. Additionally, 5 months later I noticed that the drip pan of the water heater was full of water and the water heater was rusted. Apparently, the original technician did not seal a pipe correctly and the damage down by the water was unfortunate. The silver lining in the whole experience was that they sent out a very professional and polite technician to replace the water heater free of charge which I would have expected since the damage was not from homeowner neglect or misuse. I am happy now that I have a new water heater again.

Installing the new city water line from the alley to the street took many hours of precise digging to prepare to lay the new line and connections before the city inspector arrived! What started out as a water leak ended up being a whole home repipe. Mike and his team worked diligently through 2 hurricanes and home flooding to complete the job. This is hands down the best plumbing company in the Tampa Bay Area and Mike is the best!

We had a major blockages at our establishment & had been dealing with another company that couldn't seem to get to the root of the problem. Formula plumbing came out as soon as I called them that day. Mike & Mike were a great team & very knowledgeable, the owner even came out went thru different options with us. Our pipes are now clear no more floor drains backing up & no more leaks. Formula is now our go to plumbing company.

I needed washing machine valves swapped out (old/corroded) and a new hot water heater. Formula was out the very next day to provide an estimate.
